Mahatma Gandhi—Father of the Indian nation and the propounder of ahimsa and truth, was a seeker, environmentalist and humanist, in sum, a Mahatma or Great soul. He played a vital role in India`s struggle for independence from the British colonial role and his life and book, "The Story of My Experiments With Truth" continue to inspire many in their personal quest and in tackling greater issues.
