DIG SUNIL KUMAR CONTRIBUTED TREMENDOUSLY IN MAKING 5 WORLD RECORDS FOR CRPF

Shri Sunil Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, posted at Central Sector Headquarters, Central Reserve Police, Gomtinagar, Lucknow, has set a unique milestone with his Devotion, determination, dedication and selfless co-operation in the history of CRPF throughout the world and made the name of not only his city and state but the whole country glorified in the world. According to Mr. Kumar, Jawan of CRPF sacrifices everything, his family, happiness and peace in the name of the country, but this society does not think much for the Jawan. Keeping this in mind, for the all-round development of the Jawans, the International Counselor, Dr. Gaurav Saxena was invited for counseling. With the due efforts of  Dr. Gaurav Saxena and Mr. Kumar,  counseling session was organized for senior officers, Jawans and their families of CRPF Institutions/Units located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. In this session, the officers, jawans and their families discussed the topics of physical & mental health, morality, family harmony, ways to control the stress of work area, career, drug addiction, prevention of negativity etc based on full scientific, Vedic and social aspects explaining with examples and tried to get rid of all problems/tension .

It is worth mentioning here that, Mr. Kumar's first meeting with Dr. Gaurav Saxena took place on 21st June 2022 at Group Centre CRPF Bijnor on the eve of International Yoga Day, where Dr. Saxrna was invited as the Chief Instructor and Mr. Kumar as the Chief Guest.  Mr. Kumar sensed the immense talent and knowledge in Dr. Saxena and both came closer and planed the counselling session.  Dr. Gaurav Saxena is brand ambassador of 89 JNVs of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.  Apart from the above, he has made a world record in his name being honored with 231 honorary degrees and has consulted in 55 countries of the world.  Under the leadership of Mr. Kumar, this mega programme was successfully organized by establishing contact between Dr. Saxena and CRPF institutions of Uttar Pradesh state. This work was done with a sense of service to the Jawans  and 05 world records  made for CRPF with the efficient leadership of Mr. Kumar and the knowledge of Dr. Saxena, which are as follows:-

(1)Counseling of 8688 officers/jawans and their family members.

  (2) The maximum distance covered was 1881 km.for the counseling session of    officers/jawans and family members of the CRPF

  (3) Counseling of officers/jawans and family members of maximum 13              institutions/units of the CRPF.

  (4) Counseling of institutions/units of CRPF located in maximum 10 Districts.

  (5) Counseling  of  maximum duration i.e.  30 hours.

Mr. Kumar has been brainstorming on this topic for a long time that, motivational and useful workshops should be organized for the Jawans on subjects related to their physical & mental health, family harmony, reduction of  Stress & Strain alongwith eradication of  drug, alcoholic & tobacco addiction etc. on a large scale with the help of a qualified and well-known expert, so that, stress/strain of the troops can be eased out and cases of Suicide and Fratricide can be minimized/curbed/stopped. 

Mr. Kumar has been working seriously on the matters related to the interests/welfare of the Jawans from the Rank of Company Commander i.e. since the year 1996. The Officers and Jawans of the Force actively participated in the counseling session and made the session a mega success due to continuous encouragement of Mr.  Kumar. 

      Patna resident Mr. Sunil Kumar was awarded the "WORLD RECORD APPRECIATION CERTIFICATE" for his unprecedented contribution, which is a matter of great pride for him as well as the entire CRPF.
